- אִיסְטְמָא, אִצְטְמָאf. 1) (h. צַמָּה; Ispe. of √צם), something restraining (the hair from flying), band, chaplet (of woolen and other stuff). Sabb.57b (Ms. M. אצ׳); v. בִּזְיוּנֵא. Tosef. ib. IV, 7, Kil.V, 26. 2) steel, v. אִסְטְמָא.
